Chihaya Kisaragi (如月 千早, Kisaragi Chihaya^?) is an idol at 765 Production.

She is voiced by Asami Imai.

Background

Chihaya's family consists of her mother, her father, her brother and herself. Her brother, Yuu, (seen in the THE IDOLM@STER (Anime)) died in a car accident. After his unfortunate death, her parents would always be fighting and later divorced. Chihaya despised them. Some people say that's how she got so cold.

Personality

Chihaya is a talented singer who able to sing almost perfectly only at the age of 16. The young songstress cares about nothing but singing, spending almost all of her time devoted to singing only. She is also known as "cold and heartless" at times where she devotes almost all her life to singing and she almost always is in the recording studio practicing her singing. She also has a very hard time deciding her emotions or what to say at certain times. She is also a difficult person to socialize with, sometimes shutting herself away from people to practice singing and to exercise. Despite these facts, Chihaya does have a soft spot for others, especially for people whom she cares about even though she may never show it.

Hobbies

Chihaya's main hobby is singing, which is all she seems to be doing all out through her daily life.

• The name Chihaya means "thousand" (千) (chi) and "already, now, fast, early" (早) (haya).
• Chihaya's surname Kisaragi means "February" (如月).

Trivia

• Unlike the other versions, in the arcade game, Chihaya has black hair instead of blue.
• In the DS game, Chihaya is the most popular idol out of all the 765 Production idols.
• Chihaya seems to be very self-conscious about her breast size (B72).
• Chihaya loves dogs and wants to keep one.
  • However, her apartment complex doesn't allow animals that she would have to ask someone to watch it while she's at work.
